Colourless liquid. Mixtures with combustible material may ignite spontaneously and, when involved in a fire, by shock or by friction, may cause an explosion. Highly corrosive to most metals. Causes burns to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Transport of PERCHLORIC ACID with more than 72% acid, by mass, is prohibited.
