This entry may only be used for samples of chemicals taken for analysis in connection with the implementation of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction. The transport of substances under this entry shall be in accordance with the chain of custody and security procedures specified by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. The chemical sample may only be transported providing prior approval has been granted by the competent authority or the Director General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. During transport, the packaging shall be accompanied by a copy of the document of approval for transport, showing the quantity limitations and the packing requirements.
